So, the other night (that being Saturday Night — and in case you’ve wondered, yes, I could feel the air was getting hot, like you, baby), Janet and I went out to Pugsley’s house to watch the new David Blaine video that he had purchased. This man does some incredible things, and we were led to a conclusion — the only conclusion — that explained how he could do it all.
David Blaine is…a demon from the future who can freeze time (and is somehow affiliated with Satan). All of his tricks make sense now, don’t they? Yes, I know they do. It explains everything and I’m quite shocked that other people hadn’t thought of it first. At any rate, I must apologize to Pugsley for taking so long to write this entry, since it made him seem mildly schizophrenic in an earlier post. “Mad props”, my friend.
Speaking of mad props, after an evening of watching Super Troopers, I drove Castro back to his place about an hour and a half ago. What did I see upon dropping him off? A mildly intoxicated guy who took out one of the lovely tiny trees that dot the Highfield Park area. Fantastic. He looked a bit out of it, and turned out to be, since someone was attempting to drag him out of the car while Castro got out. Gotta love drunk drivers. Aren’t they fantastic?
Anyway, the year boils away, and there’s not a whole lot of time left to do anything 2003-ish. So, for those of you who live near me, help me figure out what to do on New Year’s Eve. And everyone else — actually, everyone period — dig through my archives and help pick the most notable entries of 2003. The categories are:

If you dont know who the Dreaming is, its the lead singer from Stabbing Westward in a new band. its AWESOME. I had a demo of it for a long time, but they finally released thier EP and I found (after painstaking searching) a copy of the song.

The point of this entry is to find winners for my "best of" summary. And no one has posted any ideas for best and worst entries.
An 80 GB portable drive does sound interesting; however, your computer is too old to have USB 2.0 ports in it (unless you’ve bought a new USB card recently). So, your 80 GB drive will be limited by a maximum transfer rate of about 1.5 MB/sec.
Regardless of transfer speeds, it does sound cool, and we can now swap music and movies with reckless abandon. Whoopideedoo.

Im gonna buy a usb 2.0 / Firewire Shoebox that takes 5 1/4 drives so I can put a removable IDE Cage in it to hotswap hard drives =D
