Pre-flight Checklist

Alrighty, tomorrow morning, I’m off to Denver for a week. I’ve packed (translation: slammed my clothes into a suitcase) and loaded up (with movies and games to keep me amused on the flight) and mentally prepared myself for the voyage. I’ll get to visit an Apple Store, a science museum, a huge aquarium, and the Wolfgang Puck store (for some self-heating coffee!).

So, you won’t be able to call me until sometime next Tuesday. Maybe I’ll call you, but maybe not (it depends on various factors). I will, however, answer emails and keep my blog up to date, so don’t be a stranger. I’ll need things to keep me company.

Anyway, I’ve got to get to bed soon due to my exceedingly early morning. Our flight leaves at 9:30, but there’s all that check in stuff to do and you’re supposed to arrive a few hours early. Ugh. I’m very thankful that there’s a Tim Horton’s right next to the departure gate.

Its due to the Air France Plane crash yesterday. It completely jammed Peirson International Airport yesterday and today. Effecting more that 500-1000 people in Halifax International Airport alone. Well Good luck on getting to Colorado. And let me know what its like to be in the mile high city?

Mark

Now leaving Friday, August 5th, coming back next Friday, August 12th.

The dead body was of a guy who lived in the apartments above Tripple A. He aparently hung himself and was there for somewhere around 3 days. And the sickest thing is some kids found him there. Also it was right inbehind where Janet, Pugs, Katie, Tony, and Adam lived.

Keddy@home

The really sketchy thing is if you all still lived there we would have seen it. Due to the fact we used that pathway from your backyard to the path alot. And he was in the woods there, beside the pathway.

The susposed reason behind this guys death is he was caught by his wife raping his daughter… This is one Sick Friggin mess…

Steve

Nick - what is the favour? I’ll be home tonight. On to travelling news, people are now able to "check in" on the Air Canada website. I can pick our seat location, etc. All we have to do when we get to the airport is check our luggage (in the "express" lineup) and then proceed to the security gate. I think its rather efficient which is nice. Anyone get a name on the guy who hung himself?

Mark@Ion

Dibs on window seat!!

Pugsley, you can subscribe to the shinyLinks RSS feed if you want. Click the RSS button in the bottom right-hand corner of Firefox to do so.

Steve

You can express check in for all the airlines now I think its been on the radio for like 8 months now.

OK - the final results of the Sobicsfest playoff are in! Janet and I declared a tie at level 103 and allowed our little Sobics squeaky thing-ies to die. The suffering from severe eye socket strain, dehydration and bladder saturation far out-weighed the need to really declare a winner…especially since we were neck in neck…and we did find the answer to the question of whether there were more than 99 levels - there are!

Mark@Ion

If I were you, I would have just let one of the two die and taken turns on the remainder to really go the distance. However, I am glad to finally have an answer to the hundred level question.
