I had some excitement in my week: I started a new job. This is a momentous event not only because it’s the first “real” job I’ve had — ie, something in my field — but also because it’s the first time I’ve had to really quit a job, which wasn’t easy or fun. I’ve got four more shifts at the hospital before switching to full-time at my new place of employment, which is v.1 Labs. My first batch of work is all PHP and HTML, which is awesome.
The funny thing about the job is that our office is shared with another company, which just happens to be the one that Russell has been doing all of his work for over the past two years or so. It’s weird how things are randomly connected.
In other news, I’ve finally started running again thanks to the prodding of Katie, who is my new running buddy. We’ve only just started, but hopefully I can get into some form of shape again, especially now that I’ll be sitting at a desk five days a week.

Right in the middle of everything Clayton park has to offer - Sobeys McDonald’s, buses, dollar stores
Haha actually it’s on Willett, near the bus terminal and a pretty nice place, and way less expensive than where we are, and they’re gonna let us move our stuff in early so that we canuse Canada Day for the appropriate fiestaness!
